God’s Joy
By Paul L. Young, Jr.
Paul L. Young, Jr. is founder of Living Free Ministries. Paul and his wife Mary have traveled to China, Guatemala, Australia, and the Philippines on missionary trips. Paul does weekly prison ministry and has written a book of poems "Out Of Darkness" that is now being published. His focus in ministry is to see all people united in God's love.

What we say and contemplate
Will make us cheerful or irate.

Evil words flow from the heart
Revealing all the hurting parts.

In joyful hearts pain can’t stay.
God’s joy will drive it all away.

When God’s joy is manifesting,
It empowers us to be a blessing.

It's pure joy to be free from sin
And to know Jesus as our friend
.
Joy is the strength of man’s soul.
God’s joy makes believers bold.

Joyful men have peace of mind,
But ropes of sadness often bind.

Receiving forgiveness is one way
To increase your joy level today.

When joy is repressed by stress
Begin to worship and be blessed.

As joyful believers we can impart
Peace and love to hurting hearts.

When we praise Jesus, joy comes
And takes away the old doldrums.

God’s joy within makes men free.
His joy is every person’s victory.
