This pregnant season c
ontemplates miracles.
Mary, ripe with her gift,
knits a perfect cloth
to warm the barren
and frigid earth

Amid society’s din
one’s mind is restless,
yet asleep to truth, tranquility

Finally it awakens
to the humility and
majesty of God’s imminence.

A gathering of the senses
lays down the challenge

to welcome His saving grace.
