Thoughts on “Food, Family, Friends, and Faith: Celebrating the Holidays!” and the Future of ecumininet online!

Janine C. HaganI have been on sabbatical from ecumininet online! for a year, except during this last Spring Issue. I suspect that I had writer’s block that had extended to my arms and shoulders which had quite literally become “frozen.” Even my physical therapist had named it that. Sometimes the shoulders “thaw out.” Sometimes they don’t.

Thinking symbolically, I began to wonder why I was also frozen with the ezine. I had tried to cognitively reason this symptom/manifestation. It dawned on me that totally focusing on the reflective (and often darker )sides of the self does not invite guests in for dinner, laugh with them, nor share recipes and tell them where they can find the ingredients for getting a life full of energy, joy, creativity, and color for life and faith. I had forgotten that even from the beginning you, the reader, have been our guests.

This begins a new life and focus for ecumininet online! We launch this issue as an adventure with lots of great holiday recipes and stories of traditions and experiences that warm our hearts. The following is one way that you can sustain ecumininet online! for the future.

Become a charter member of the new Ecumenical Ministry Network. I already have people signing up for this; from authors to attorneys to pastors and educators, the list is growing. This is for individuals, church or organization leaders, and faith-based business leaders who will design, develop/build, and maintain the foundation of this new organization and ecumininet online!

Members will receive:

  1. Discounts on gatherings/conferences
  2. Discounts on consulting/coaching from consultants with Spiritual Systems, Inc.
  3. A personal page-profile and photo on the web
  4. Network-only contact directory
  5. A newsletter from me/other coaches & consultants with Spiritual Systems, Inc.
  6. 6. This begins NOW for the year of 2009. The discounted cost of joining the Ecumenical Ministry Network is $25 for 6 months, $50.00 per year. Organization fees are sliding scale and available upon request. All proceeds from this fund the costs of sustaining ecumininet online!
  7. The deadline for discounted charter membership ends December 31, 2008. After January 1, 2009, EcuMiniNet rates become $50.00 per 6 months and $90.00 per year. Strong connection with the ezine brings greater professional and personal opportunities. EcuMiniNet membership equals inexpensive advertisement plus networking and new friends. It is that simple.

Thank you for your years of personal encouragement, creative gifts, and readership! May Peace, Joy, creativity, new life, and heart-warmth (to share) be yours this sacred season.
