ArchivesMy Statement of Faith Meagan is 14 and lives in Nebraska, USA. I believe that God is the creator of everything. I believe that when God spoke the “big bang” occurred and everything was made. I believe in Adam and Eve. I believe that God gives us all free will, but he still wants us to believe in him. I do believe there is a God, and he watches over us. I want him to take me up when he comes again, so I want him to be in me. I believe God has a plan for us all. I believe that we are all the same to him. He loves us all. I also believe God is shown in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that God came to this earth through Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ is God. He came to the earth as God’s son. I believe that he was born to the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross for all of our sins, and he was buried in a tomb. I believe that on the third day he rose again and spoke to all his disciples saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:18-20). Then he descended up into the heavens. I believe that the Bible was written to speak God’s word. I believe that the Bible is the one book on this earth that tells us that God is the one and only God. I believe that the two sacraments instituted by Jesus Christ are the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and the sacrament of Holy Baptism, given to any believer in the Lord. I believe that the church is to teach, worship, fellowship, and do missions. Our mission is “To Know Christ and To Make Him Known.” And I do fully understand and follow that. I gave my life to Jesus Christ with a youth pastor named Tye in February 2007 at a Chill Out youth advent. Since then I try my hardest to live in Him, but sometimes I do lose my faith and turn against God. But I do want him to be in me forever. Copyright ©2008 Meagan. All Rights Reserved. | View
