Come Find Your Place
By Stephen Steward

Hot SpringThere is a colorless spot in the center of the dark red chambers
So petite and hopefully leading the way
Of armies and capillaries
Pleading for a way out
“Show me the way” screams the small voice
“Let me in” calls the booming voice
The chamber quivers at the measure
Knowing the voice
Inviting the brain to listen to the words
Aching for a place in the decision
Bleeding in blue with the white leading the way
Finding different ways to grow pale in its care
So people can share each other
Speaking steadfastness in a world of doubt and darkness
Placing someone else’s white in front of their own
In time they will need a person to do the same
For them
It is good
And finds joy in the doing
Seek that place deep within
Chambers of your heart
That clean white spot that god gave us all
That spot in which forgiveness lays
And hope grows to mend the pain in all
The doctor calls the white healers
I understand they keep the red
From flowing out of us when we are damaged
Some of the damage does not flow
And the
White of a soul comes to comfort
Forgive
Teach
Restore
Lift
So we may pass on our glow from one to another causing bliss for the love of a god which is pure to the sight and the listening of all.
